Hi, and welcome to my genealogy website all about making family trees!
You may have guessed that I’m not a professional genealogist, and you’re right! I’m just someone who loves history, and my family history has proven to be very fascinating. I have spent a lot of time doing research into my own history, and I wanted to share the things that I found to be helpful with you.
It all started when my young son had to do a family tree project for his school, and I had the fun experience of being able to help him. We spent a lot of time talking with his aunts, uncles, grandparents, and so on, and together we were able to create a cute little family tree that he took to school (of course he got excellent marks for it!)
This project really sparked my interest in the subject of family, and I decided to do a bit of research into my own family history. My son only did a family tree on his immediate relatives, but I wanted to do a more complex family tree that went back a few generations. Before I knew it, I was visiting public records archives, checking out history books from libraries, and spending a lot of time on genealogy websites.
It took a while, but I finally managed to track down all of my ancestors, and I added them to the family tree that is now sitting proudly in my living room. Seeing as I love to do art projects with fancy images, clip art, and designs, I made my family tree so that I can pass it on to my son.
The good news is that you can too!
All of the information on this website will help you to make your own family trees, and you will find that it will be a whole lot of fun. You can really learn a lot about your family and its history (I know I did), and you may find that your history is full of fascinating events and stories. By doing the research into your family history, you can learn more about where you come from!
I love art, and most of the artwork that is available on this site has been drawn by my own hand. That’s right, most of the templates, blank family trees, family tree clipart, and other images on this site will be drawn or designed by me, and made available for your use!
It doesn’t matter who you are – family histories are fascinating things!
I hope you can have as much fun doing the research into your family history as I did, and that you can make your own family history tree and ancestry charts as a project to do with your kids and family. You may be surprised to find out that your family has a rich history, and doing the research into your past will give you a renewed internet into history – just like it did with me.
